Livestock transported across state lines need to meet specific requirements that vary by state.  At a minimum, a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) is required and depending on the state, other tests may be required.  At Shasta Ranch, we can arrange with a local veterinarian to complete the CVI and any required testing.

A good resource is http://www.interstatelivestock.com/.  You can confirm the requirements with the Agriculture Department or State Veterinarians office of the destination state.  If the animals are transported through multiple states, usually the requirements of the destination state apply.

Generally, delivery is available in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada and Northern California.  Delivery to other areas may be arranged on request or we can assist with a referral to a commercial carrier
